Is it possible to install an electric assistance on a non electric bike?

You may electrify our bikes and use them on public roads as long as:

  • The maximum power is 250 W
  • The maximum speed is 25 km/h
  • Assistance is used only when pedaling and turns off when pedaling stops. However, it is permissible to install a starting assistance system that does not require pedaling, but the maximum speed must be 6 km/h.

There are several options available, including front wheel, rear wheel, and crankset electrification kits that are compatible with our bikes. The Kombi and Mundo come with bottle-holder inserts on the down tube for battery installation, as well as a 68mm threaded bottom bracket.
