You can add an external motor kit (designed by a third party) to your Mundo Lux to convert it into an electric-assist bike. ⚠️ A quick note on safety though: Our Mundo Lux has been designed, assembled and rigorously tested according to the ISO 4210-2:2015 standard (which sets safety and performance requirements for bicycles). The original frame and components of this mechanical model have not been approved by our teams to withstand the extra speed, motor torque and physical strain that comes with an electric motor. If you do decide to go ahead, we strongly advise you to have it fitted by a specialist professional to ensure a completely safe electrical setup and braking system.
