To ensure your daily rides are peaceful and comfortable, we recommend equipping your luggage rack according to the age of your children: - For under 5s: Install two Thule Yepp baby seats (Yepp 2 Maxi or Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi) directly onto the rack. - For 5 to 10 year olds: Combine the protection bars (Monkey Bars or EZ Monkey Bars) with two Soft Spot cushions for a comfy seat, and add our Safety Belts for extra security. - To rest their legs: Don't forget the Long AlloyBoards or Spicy SideBoards footrests so their feet are perfectly supported and protected.

Your riding range varies from one journey to the next, as it depends on several everyday factors: The chosen assistance mode: Naturally, relying heavily on Turbo or Cargo mode will drain more energy than cruising in the gentler, more economical Eco mode. The total payload of the longtail: Carrying two or three children with their schoolbags and your shopping bags requires more motor effort than riding empty. The terrain of your route: Climbing steep hills or tackling the elevation changes in your area consumes more energy than a leisurely ride on flat ground. The weather and season: Battery cells are sensitive to winter temperatures. In very cold weather, your overall range may temporarily decrease. Your pedalling cadence: Maintaining a smooth and active pedalling rhythm significantly takes the pressure off the electric assistance and increases your available mileage. The road surface: Riding on perfectly smooth urban tarmac uses less energy than travelling over cobblestones or dirt tracks.
